Job Summary
Industrial Spray Painter is responsible for monitoring the flow of goods and materials through the company's Paint Department.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels including cycle counts and ensure sufficient stock of paint is available to meet customer demand for upcoming projects.
Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements where necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ISO standards for Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental.
Updating of SAP on a daily basis (Knitting).
Completion of all Test Plates.
Manage Paint Department resources ensuring adequate staff to ensure project deadlines are maintained.
Liaise with other departments to ensure Paint department is well informed.
Schedule of works on project-to-project basis in accordance with project technical drawings. Oversee and monitor line feeding.
Mentor and develop talent within the Paint Team, providing training on the use of all equipment, tools and machinery in the Paint Department.
Manage ad hoc jobs/projects if the paint team has the capacity and complete other jobs if paint team are waiting on projects, ensure availability of the team and assist other teams during these periods.
Monitor all maintenance requirements of Paint equipment, alerting relevant manager/contractors with regards to service and maintenance of equipment.
Ensure the Paint Department work area is maintained in an organised, clean and orderly manner in accordance with ISO standards.
* All paints stored in correct manner when not in use.
* Touch -up of units where required.
* Paint Boards updated on a daily basis.
* Waste products noted and if required, collection of waste product organised and informed to production management.
* All paperwork/paint reports completed in a timely manner and in accordance with ISO standards and procedures of work.
