About this Position
This is a hands-on SHE Specialist role focused on driving safety, health, and environmental standards across our operations, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, contractor management, and continuous improvement in line with ISO ***** and ISO *****.
What you ´ll do
Support the implementation and upkeep of EHS management systems, including maintaining records and documentation in line with recognized standards (ISO ***** & ISO
Assist with coordinating construction project documentation, permits, and contractor management processes.
Prepare and maintain records of task, equipment, chemical, and machinery risk assessments.
Provide administrative support for the industrial hygiene programme, including scheduling monitoring and keeping logs updated.
Support the EH&S team with documentation and communication for management of change and chemical-related projects.
Coordinate logistics and materials for EH&S training programmes and keep attendance/training records up to date.
Draft, format, and update EH&S procedures and ensure controlled versions are distributed and archived correctly.
Assist in logging and tracking incident/accident investigations, including maintaining records of root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
Provide administrative support for SHE projects and initiatives, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing reports.
What makes you a good fit
A recognised third level qualification in Safety and Health and / or Environmental Science / Engineering is a requirement.
Prior experience of working in a construction/manufacturing/chemical related industry.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills.
Self-directed with demonstrated efficient work methods, problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
