Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for all project phases, including tender documents, contracts, drawings, BoQ, specifications, budgets and maintaining accurate records.
* Perform material take-offs prior to purchasing requisitions for projects and report any irregularities or discrepancies to project management.
* Implement post-contract duties, including measurements, final accounts and evaluation reports, as well as preparation of payment applications and agreements with clients.
* Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
* Manage, examine, control and evaluate subcontractor works, assess claims, variations, invoices and ensure contractual obligations are satisfied.
* Evaluate quotations obtained from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quantities and specifications align with tender and project specifications.
* Provide detailed backup support for commercial tracking and costing.
Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering. They should also possess technical and practical knowledge of contract development, administration and close-out, as well as excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, good communication skills and strong English capability.
