CHI DublinTheChildren's Health Ireland (CHI) Dublinis seeking aConsultant Paediatric Spinal Consultantto join the expanding paediatric service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within adynamic, multidisciplinary, and patient-focused teamserving children and families across Dublin and nationally.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert clinical care for children and adolescents withspinal disorders.Deliver outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and participate in thepaediatric on-call rotaas required.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues includingorthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.Engage inservice development, audit, and quality improvement initiativesto enhance paediatric spinal care.Contribute to theteaching and supervisionof NCHDs, medical students, and other trainees.Participate inrelevant research and academic opportunitiesin collaboration with CHI Dublin and affiliated academic partners.Essential RequirementsCompletion of specialist training inPaediatricsandOrthopaedics / Spinal Surgery(or equivalent) with recognisedsubspecialty training in paediatric spinal disorders.Registration or eligibility forSpecialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).Strong clinical expertise in the management ofcomplex paediatric spinal conditions.Excellentcommunication, teamwork, and organisational skills.Commitment tohigh-quality, family-centred care.What CHI OffersAcompetitive consultant salary(€233,000-280,000) and comprehensive benefits.Opportunities forcontinuous professional development, training, and academic collaboration.Awelcoming, supportive, and multidisciplinary environmentat CHI Dublin.
