We're creating an AI-powered platform that helps professionals
practice
critical human skills—communication, leadership, negotiation, empathy—through adaptive role-play simulations and behavioural feedback.

We now want to bring in a
CTO / Technical Co-Founder
to help shape the product, architecture, and long-term technical vision.
The Role
This is a
co-founder-level position
, not a contractor role.
You will:
* Own the
technical vision and architecture
of Emote
* Lead product engineering from
MVP → scalable platform
* Make key decisions on
AI architecture, data strategy, and infrastructure
* Build and manage the engineering roadmap
* Eventually hire and lead a small, high-quality dev team
* Work closely with the founder on product, funding, and strategy
What We're Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
* Are a
senior full-stack engineer / AI engineer / technical lead
* Have experience building
SaaS products from early stage
* Are comfortable working with
LLMs, APIs, data pipelines, and modern stacks
* Care deeply about
product quality, UX, and real user outcomes
* Want
ownership
, not just a job title
* Are motivated by building something meaningful, not just shipping code
* Startup experience and people-leadership experience are a strong plus.
Tech Stack (Current / Flexible)
* AI/LLMs (OpenAI / similar)
* Modern web stack (React / Next / Node / Python)
* Cloud-native infrastructure
* Strong interest in
RAG, evaluation, and AI safety/measurement
The stack is
not fixed
—you will help decide it.
Compensation
* Equity-based
(meaningful co-founder stake)
* Salary to follow post-funding
* Full transparency on cap table, roadmap, and funding plans
