Job Overview
We provide specialist autism services for adults across Residential, Respite, Day, and Community Support Services.
* Awareness of key worker role and philosophy in supporting people with complex needs
* Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
* Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
* Ability to work independently and implement support/care plans
* Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities
The successful candidate will receive necessary training and development, including a detailed induction. The team strives to deliver excellent service, helping people live independently, enjoy a better quality of life, and engage actively in their communities.
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills
* Full driver's licence essential
We are seeking individuals who can adapt their communication style, be fun and engaging, patient, and kind. They should assist with daily living activities, routines, and personal care, while supporting individuals to engage in their community, learn new skills, understand their rights, and make decisions.
