Vickerstock in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company are recruiting for an experienced food industry FACTORY MANAGER.
About the Role
This role requires a strong floor presence and the ability to work closely with Planning, Dispatch, Operations, and Health & Safety teams to ensure production targets are achieved safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will be supported by a team of Supervisors and Line Leaders.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day production operations in a high-volume processing environment
Deliver output targets while maintaining quality and food safety standards
Collaborate with Planning and Dispatch to meet customer demand
Ensure full compliance with HACCP and Irish food safety regulations
Drive continuous improvement and cost control initiatives
Coach and develop Supervisors and Line Leaders
Qualifications
At least 5 years proven experience in a Factory Manager/Operations Manager or senior production role within food manufacturing
Experience in poultry, fish, or breaded/processed products desirable
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
Experience working in a fast-paced factory environment
Solid understanding of Health & Safety and food safety compliance
