The Role
We're seeking a senior project manager to lead our SAP S/4HANA projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who want to take their careers to the next level and become key members of our SAP team.
You will help us deliver exceptional client services by leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organisational goals.
Our global SAP practice now totals more than 26,000 dedicated SAP professionals in over 150 countries.
We are investing heavily in S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, Concur, GTS, SCP, Analytics, and other new SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement SAP S/4HANA projects and programs that support business operations.
* Defining key project activities, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements to achieve project objectives.
* Follow and establish project governance tools and methodologies for planning, executing, and monitoring of assigned project throughout all phases – Prepare, Explore, Realise-Build, Realise-Test, and Deploy.
* Manage the execution of an integrated plan across multiple workstreams and teams.
* Oversee, define, and monitor critical path activities and resolution.
* Implement and lead effective change management activities for impacted stakeholder communities.
* Provides ongoing reporting of project performance to Director and stakeholder communities.
* Managing risks, issues, priorities, and dependencies with clear communication of mitigation options to Director and project steering committee.
* Learning about accelerators such as SAP Model Company or EY's Pre-Configured Industry Solutions for potential use as design accelerators on client engagements.
* Senior stakeholder management and management of client expectations.
* Supporting the development of the SAP practice, including leading internal team activities, and facilitating external client events.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Strong Project Management skills including planning, execution, and monitoring of data management projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards.
* Experience in leading and mentoring teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Ability to build strong client relationships and professional networks.
* Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output.
* Being able to lead, mentor, and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
* A third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position.
* 7+ years' experience delivering SAP projects in both internal and external client facing environments.
* At least 2 years' hands on experience leading SAP implementations in a consulting capacity.
* Proven experience in leading team planning for all project phases.
* Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams, adopting a collaborative and supportive approach.
* Skilled in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organisational goals.
* Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior level clients.
* Adept at facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
Ideally, you will also have:
* Experience with full asset lifecycle management using EAM capabilities in S/4HANA.
