Our client, a growing professional services firm, has created a new HR Business Partner position to support the continued development of their people strategy and leadership team. This is a broad, hands-on role that combines operational HR delivery with strategic partnering, providing the opportunity to help shape how HR supports a modern and expanding accounting practice.
The role would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, values building strong relationships across the organisation, and is comfortable balancing day-to-day HR activity with longer-term people initiatives. Experience supporting a workforce of 250+ employees is important, as the role requires confidence working in a larger, multi-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the primary HR contact for employee and manager queries across the business
Providing guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes
Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning as the firm continues to grow
Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and documentation to support best practice
Partnering with leaders on performance management, development and engagement initiatives
Supporting organisational change, including growth planning and role design
Managing HR data, reporting and systems to support informed decision-making
Ideal Candidate
5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner role
Experience supporting organisations with 250+ employees or within a similarly scaled environment
Confidence in engaging with and advising senior stakeholders
A practical, people-focused approach with sound judgement
An appreciation for different working styles, backgrounds and career stages
Ability to adapt within a growing and evolving organisation
A CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable, along with a relevant degree in Human Resources, Business or Law.
