Duties within the role:
* Conduct in-depth research to stay up-to-date with tax law and legislative changes.
* Maintain communication with clients to gather information and provide explanations on available options.
* Act as a liaison between clients and the Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
* Analyze and complete tax forms for clients.
* Perform thorough audits on client tax records.
* Offer expert advice to clients on minimizing their tax liability.
* Produce high-quality presentations and reports for clients.
* Lead the growth and management of the tax department.
* Ensure tax compliance obligations are met.
* Deliver complex tax advisory projects and write detailed, high-quality tax reports.
* Promote succession planning within the team.
Qualifications and Ongoing Professional Development:
* Hold a CTA qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA additional qualification preferred).
* Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge in taxation.
* Possess effective business development and client management skills.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Engage in ongoing structured internal and external tax technical training.
* Participate in mentoring and development programs to enhance business skills.
