Our client,
a multidisciplined engineering and environmental consultancy, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in Kerry.
The successful candidate will work across a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, energy and pharmaceutical. The Engineer will be responsible for the design and management of a range of projects, in conjunction with the wider team. Provide guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements:
1. 6+ years of post-graduate experience in the design and management of structural or civil engineering projects
2. Chartered or progressing towards Chartered status
3. Extensive experience working independently across structural, civil, renewable energy, infrastructure design, and construction supervision
4. Current experience in leading, managing, and overseeing structural/civil engineering design projects across multiple sectors
5. Developing leadership skills, including business development, client relationship management, technical leadership, team building, and motivation
6. Strong technical expertise in all relevant engineering disciplines
7. Proficient in Eurocodes, steel, and concrete design, with experience in SCIA or similar analysis software
8. Effective communicator with strong collaborative skills
9. Competence in managing projects of varying sizes for diverse client types
10. High attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to meet tight deadlines
12. Prior experience in design and build projects is an asset
