About the Role
As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating labour forces, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships.
* Day-to-day management, coordination, and monitoring of site labour forces and specialist subcontractors.
* Assist the Project team in monitoring progress to meet agreed programme targets.
* Ensure works are delivered to the highest possible quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies at all times.
* Work closely with supply chain and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships and culture on the ground.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5-10 years of management experience, preferably in the construction industry.
* Previous main contractor experience, ideally in high-end commercial or mixed-use development projects.
* A third-level qualification or trades background, with excellent knowledge of trades.
* IT skills, including Microsoft software proficiency.
* Excellent delegation and organisational skills.
* The ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.
