Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), in partnership with Retail Business Services (RBS), is a paid B2B service that aims to help key Vendors partner with Amazon.
The Vendor Consultant (VC) will help shape and deliver strategies for managing key metric pillars for Amazon AVS vendors.

The Vendor Consultant will interface internally with leaders from RBS, Retail, and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for specific aspects of the vendor's business with Amazon.
They will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize business for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com.
They will conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of data to grow the vendor's traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.
Additionally, they will explore strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, perform root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor's business.
The Vendor Consultant will focus on the strategic and operational management of customer relationships with our vendors.
Key job responsibilitiesSuccess will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and the impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience.Partner with the Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationships by championing the vendor's needs at Amazon.Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status updates, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors.Develop and execute a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon.Collaborate with internal Amazon teams and vendors to improve operational aspects of their business and enhance the consumer experience.Conduct deep analysis on issues faced by vendors and develop recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience.Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution.Establish long-term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled.Support the launch of new programs and features.Conduct regular WBRs and MBRs with vendors to highlight business metric performance and develop action plans.Influence metrics by understanding their implications, creating realistic forecasts, taking calculated risks, and reacting swiftly with new action plans. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSB2 Certification minimum (Italian)2+ years of experience in vendor/account/catalog management, buying/sourcing/sales, product management, or supply chain2+ years of experience interacting with customers/stakeholders1+ years of program or project management experienceExperience using data to influence business decisionsKnowledge of advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas)Excellent business communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFast learner and able to deal with ambiguity PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of macros and data analyticsAbility to drive process or procedure improvementsKnowledge of tools such as SharePoint, SIM-ticketing, project management tools, and scripting experience.
