We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Mediolanum HR team as a Senior Human Resource Specialist.
This role plays an important part in driving strategic people initiatives and supporting the organisations continued growth. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will support over 200 employees in a culture where talent and capability are the difference between achievement and excellence.
The role focuses on process optimisation, technology adoption, an open mindset to leverage new tools and technology (like AI) and contributing to the design and implementation of modern and future looking HR programs. You will play a key role in delivering operational and strategic HR services, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Principal Duties of the position, including but not limited to:
* Deliver best in class full-cycle HR support to current and prospective employees.
* Responsible for the processing the monthly pay and overall benefits administration (including deferral payment), with a focus on the automation of manual tasks and streamline processes to improve efficiency leveraging on best-in-class technology and new tools where possible (ie AI and emerging technology)
* Drive our new hire induction process, liaise with support services to ensure a streamlined onboarding experience for new starters.
* Lead on the management of probation process, providing advice to managers whilst ensuring adherence to employment law.
* Be a trusted advisor by providing support and guidance on HR related matters to managers and employees and be a point of contact for employee queries. Handle employee relations matters, with the support of the HR team.
* Maintain and evolve our contractual documentation, including HR policies, and managing related systems (Salesforce and others) Sto reflect best practices and legal standards.
* Manage the HRIS to meet legislative and company requirements, and support with HR Metrics reporting, through the utilization of bespoke internal analytical tools to enable data-driven decisions.
* Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives and projects that shape the future of our workplace.
* Oversee our wellbeing agenda, partnering with external providers and promoting events that support employee health & wellbeing.
* Keep up with evolving employment legislation and HR trends to ensure we remain progressive and compliant.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of all aspects of HR practices.
* Proficiency in HR systems, specifically new technologies adoption, including AI.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
* 7 – 10 years' experience in a HR role.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience with process improvement and HR automation tools.
