Description of role:Responsibility for the day-to-day monitoring of the production process. To work as part of a team on the factory floor and to be proactive in the pursuit of continuous quality and process improvement. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for:Key accountabilities:Implementation and maintenance of BRC, HACCP and GMP systemsMonitoring and reporting of quality standards cleaning & engineering requirementsImplement, monitor and review corrective actionsImplementing corrective & preventative action for customer complaintsMonitoring of the product quality against QAS & recipesMonitoring of the production process in line with factory HACCP & SOPsRaw materials inspection, stock control & Supplier monitoringTraceability complianceSkills and knowledge requirements:The ideal candidate should have relevant prior experience in a similar position within the Food Industry. The successful individual will have good communication & skills, work well as part of a team, be confident, innovative and flexible, have excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills, attention to detail and awareness of quality standards.
