We are seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Representative to join our team in Sligo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage, nurture, and grow an existing portfolio of key accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
* Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed agreed sales and margin targets for the assigned territory.
* Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing effective product solutions.
* Design and execute a strategic journey plan to ensure regular and effective customer contact across the entire territory.
* Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales successfully.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product innovations to identify new opportunities.
* Liaise effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery for customers.
* Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and market feedback to the management team.
Ideal Background:
* A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, preferably within the electrical wholesale industry or a closely related sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical products.
* A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B environment.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
* A high-energy self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage your own diary.
* A genuine commitment to providing best-in-class customer service.
* Commercially astute with the ability to manage profit margins and contribute to overall business growth.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
* A full, clean Irish or EU driving licence is essential.
