The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the CTO leads the full technical agenda — R&D, QA, QC, and Regulatory Affairs — across a ~50‑person team. Strategic and hands‑on in equal measure.
Core ownership:
R&D strategy and pipeline from early research through preclinical/early clinical
Full QA/QC accountability including PQS, GxP compliance, and audit readiness
Regulatory strategy across FDA, EMA, and equivalent agencies
Scientific due diligence on in‑licensing and partnerships
Management of CROs, CMOs, and external labs
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in pharma/biotech R&D with real leadership responsibility
Hands‑on depth across drug development, quality systems, and regulatory affairs
OSD and complex molecule experience preferred
SME or scale‑up background strongly preferred
Entrepreneurial, execution‑focused, high integrity
The Package
Base: $200,000–$240,000 + 20% bonus

Location: Ireland — 4 days onsite
