Overview
Join one of Ireland’s leading Tier 1 main contractors, renowned for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments nationwide. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a landmark new residential project in Blackpool, Cork City.
The project involves the construction of 114 new apartments across multiple blocks, along with 3 commercial units, in a high-profile urban regeneration scheme. This is a key project for the region and a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic site team delivering a top-tier development from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, direct labour, suppliers, and site staff.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Design Teams.
Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, progress reports, and quality checks.
Oversee logistics, scheduling, and resource management.
Attend regular site meetings and report on project progress.
Manage snagging, handovers, and close-out documentation.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments in Ireland.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
Relevant construction qualification (e.g. Construction Management, Engineering, or Trade background).
Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR, and H&S legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to drive programme and motivate teams to meet targets.
Package
Salary: €75,000 – €85,000 DOE
