Our client is seeking Junior Mechanical EngineerThe successful candidate will be Reporting directly to a dedicated project manager. They will have the ability to read Technical Specifications for proposed site installationsResponsibilities of the role:Review quality on site – walking down systems to ensure compliance with project teamCreate and develop handover packs and test packs for Mechanical systems from the agreed systems list and create the system boundariesReview and understand schematics, GA plans and projects specificationsCarry out design reviewsManage the systems turnover packs with the client’s commission teamsEnsure Quality plan is relevant and modify accordinglyAnalyse supplier information for alignment with design specificationsAttend quality meetings and participate in walk downs when requiredReporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and issuesEvaluate the RFI responses to ensure that there are no engineering issues with themEnsure site supervisors are working off latest drawings at all times and assist in the engineering development of supervisorsPreparing all technical submittals according to specificationsDevelop and monitor all P&ID’S through the project such as LPHW, CHW, DWS, HVAC ensuring there are no omissionsPrepare O&M documentation for all systemsReview and answer technical queries from site in relation to specifications / drawings/ materials / equipment and close out sameWork as an integral part of the commissioning process and sign-off commissioning parametersDevelop and generate all the required sign-off documentation for systemsAssist with development of commissioning plan and implementation of sameEnsuring checks are completed for compliance with latest regulations and relevant design codesDesign reviews, validate equipment and systemsAnalysis of all design documentation and identification of any scope gapsRequirements:Relevant 3rd level electrical qualification essentialTrade background would be advantageousMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role is essentialExcellent IT skills requiredExperience in Revit would be advantageousExcellent organisational and planning skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
