Financial ControllerWe are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of the financial management of the business. Financial and forecasts preparation as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.Background:The Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel is a well-known and respected family-owned hotel. It is located on 43 acres on the outskirts of Adare, approx. 12km from Limerick City.The Hotel has been trading since 1983 and currently has 93 bedrooms, a leisure centre and boasts the 5-star Revas SpaResponsibilities include:· Reporting to the General Manager and the wider Hotel Management Team· Managing all finance and accounting operations· Building an efficient and professional team within the Finance Department· Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts· Preparing timely month/quarterly and year-end financial statements including Profit and Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets and Cashflows· Management of finance and procurement team· Management of relationships with key third parties· Constructive interacting with all departments across the business· Management of cost control requirements· Responsibility for year-end Audits· Responsibility for local tax complianceRequirements and skills:· Proven working experience as a Financial Controller/ Finance Manager· 5+ years of Post Qualification Experience in the area of accounting and finance· Experience of creating financial statements· Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (strong excel, Sage 50 & Procure Wizard experience an advantage)· Excellent communication skills· Fluent in English, both oral and writtenJob Types: Full-time, Fixed termContract length: 14 monthsBenefits:Company eventsEmployee discountFlexitimeFood allowanceGym membershipOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Adare, CO.
