Based with our client in Dublin 11, an opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Technical Sales Support / Coordinator to provide quotation, technical, and administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The role involves working closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure accurate pricing, effective customer communication, and efficient handling of enquiries. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely quotations using established pricing structures, based on technical specifications, customer requirements, and project documentation. Interpret basic technical and construction drawings to assess material suitability and quantity requirements. Act as a primary point of contact for incoming sales and technical enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Respond to customer queries professionally and efficiently, including advising on alternative solutions when products or services are unavailable. Liaise closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure smooth coordination and high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide administrative and customer support across multiple specialist teams, prioritising workloads as required. Offer overflow support to the internal trade sales function during busy periods. Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and customer interactions using CRM and internal documentation systems. Keep personal technical knowledge up to date through regular training and by maintaining a well-documented internal knowledge base. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical sales support, estimating, or similar role, ideally within a construction, engineering, or industrial environment. Strong numerical ability with a high level of accuracy in calculations. Excellent visual interpretation skills, with the ability to understand and work from technical or construction drawings. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Confident user of CRM systems and standard office software.
