Responsibilities
As an Instrument Engineering Graduate at PM Group, your day-to-day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on projects in the following sectors - BioPharma, Med Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Food and Energy
Coordination with other PM Group global offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, resource hours, etc.
Instrumentation design through Smart Plant Instrumentation
Work with Senior Engineers and assist in producing instrumentation deliverables in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures
Working with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI)
Production of Instrumentation specifications and Data Sheets
Material requisitions for Instrument procurement
Production of Instrument Indices / I/O Lists
Production of Instrument cable schedules
Vendor documentation review and approvals
Support during construction
Assist with commissioning activities
Attendance at Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
Coordination of design with other disciplines
Participate in PM Group’s Next Graduate Program
Qualifications
A degree in Applied Physics & Instrumentation Engineering at level 8
Ability to work in a vibrant multi-discipline design environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong work ethic
Flexibility to work both in design office and on construction teams
