Schedule routine maintenance, plan new projects and perform emergency repairs. The incumbent reports to the to the Fleet Manager on fleet related reports based in Dublin.Maintenance, safety and management tasks that promote a secured, clean, and safe working environment for all employees, including:Weekly KPI's (Reporting on Fleet Issues)Occasional travel to other ATC sites to carry out fleet auditsForm part of the TAPA FSR audit teamFleet Operations ManagementCoordinate vehicle dispatching and scheduling to optimize efficiencyEnsure fleet vehicles are available to meet operational demandsTrack vehicle movements and fuel consumptionMonitor driver activities and enforce company policiesVehicle Maintenance & ComplianceSchedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairsEnsure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulationsKeep accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and insuranceWork with mechanics and external vendors for repairs and servicingCost Control & BudgetingMonitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measuresVehicle Maintenance & ComplianceSchedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairsEnsure all vehicles comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulationsKeep accurate records of vehicle inspections, registrations, and insuranceWork with mechanics and external vendors for repairs and servicingCost Control & BudgetingMonitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measuresManage maintenance and repair expenses within budgetAssess and recommend vehicle purchases or leasing optionsDriver Supervision & TrainingMonitor driver performance and provide feedbackEnsure drivers maintain proper licenses and certificationsReporting & Data ManagementMaintain logs of vehicle usage, maintenance, and fuel expensesUse fleet management software for tracking and reportingCandidate RequirementsAbility to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines. Proven ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.
