About Your New EmployerJoin a well-established multi-disciplinary team - Our client is based in South Kildare and the firm focuses on housing projects, including multi-unit and one-off developments, and also works in the hospitality and healthcare sectors.They also support local community initiatives through Not-for-Profit projects as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility and pride themselves on efficiency in both design and process.They use advanced BIM modelling software, Revit, to provide client-friendly three-dimensional images and are looking for an architectural technologist to join their team.About Your New JobAs an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans and coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.You will also ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining high-quality and sustainable practices and prepare and review technical documents, including specifications, construction drawings, and building regulations compliance.Conducting site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any issues that arise during construction will be an important part of this role and previous experience of this will be of great advantage.Other duties will include maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of design and construction, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail and incorporating sustainable design principles and materials into projects to enhance energy efficiency and environmental impact.What Skills You NeedA degree or in Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a related field is required.5 years’ experience in an architectural technician role using Irish building regulations with in-depth understanding of building materials, construction methods, and sustainability practices.Experience in commercial projects is an advantageExperience using REVIT is essentialIdeally you will have + years PQ experience, preferably in Ireland, delivering medium scale projects from planning application stage to completion.
