The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations at the Monaghan plant. You’ll manage a team of technicians, ensure the smooth running of equipment, and implement preventative maintenance programs — all while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to deliver high performance and a strong safety culture.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
* Manage repairs, inspections, and upgrades to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.
* Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
* Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee external contractors.
* Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.
* Identify and deliver process improvements across the department.
About You:
* Proven experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of processing equipment, machinery, and utilities.
* Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
