Docusign is looking for an Engineering Manager to join its development team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will lead a focused scrum team and be responsible for building and enhancing capabilities for the Onboarding & Engagement space.
\r
This person will be able to seamlessly integrate into agile teams and work closely with all facets of the organization to achieve high-quality results.
\r
The position involves executing on the product roadmap using agile practices and championing the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless, high-quality development environment.
\r
The successful candidate will cultivate a passion for continuous improvement and deliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the codebase through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt.
\r
**Responsibilities:**
\r
* Execute on our product roadmap using agile practices and champion the culture, processes, and tools required to maintain a frictionless, high-quality development environment
\r
* Cultivate a passion for continuous improvement
\r
* Deliver products that delight customers while managing the health of the codebase through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt
\r
* Provide coaching and leadership in software best practices, automated test strategies, and work toward flattening the cost of change curve for our software products and services
\r
* Demonstrate a track record of building high-performing, secure applications and building security into the DNA of products
\r
* Lead a team of engineers at various stages of their careers, actively investing in their growth and development
\r
* Foster an open, collaborative, and fun work environment for yourself and your team
\r
* Work closely with product, design, security, customer success, and other teams to provide technical expertise throughout all phases of product development
\r
* Obsess over great user experiences and partner with product management/engineering, sales, operations, and other parts of the business
\r
**Requirements:**
\r
* BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
\r
* 5+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience
\r
* 5+ years of hands-on software development or equivalent experience
\r
* Experience with Front end technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VueJS
\r
* Experience with either C#, Java, C++, NodeJS or another backend programming language
\r
* Experience working the full stack preferably in one or more of object-oriented programming languages like C# and Java
\r
* Experience working with Designers and Usability Researchers
\r
* Experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns
\r
* Experience working in an agile development environment
\r
* Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools
\r
**Preferred Qualifications:**
\r
* Experience with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.)
\r
* Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
\r
* Experience with full stack SaaS development
\r
