Essential Requirements
Level 8 Bachelor of Engineering in Structural or Civil Engineering
Chartered status or working towards it
Minimum 10+ years' post-graduate experience
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Strong design experience with Steel and Concrete Frame structures
Drainage system design experience

Job Overview
As a Senior Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer, you will work alongside the in-house team to lead structural and civil designs, provide design certifications, and liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.
You will contribute to a wide range of projects including residential housing schemes, commercial developments, and industrial structures, ensuring high-quality, compliant designs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop structural/civil designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
Undertake Design Certifier & Assigned Certifier responsibilities
Review and check designs produced by other engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance
Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
Perform research, risk assessments, and data analysis to underpin project designs
Prepare professional opinions, specifications, and technical documentation for reports and presentations
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate designs across all project phases
Qualifications
Level 8 Bachelor of Engineering in Structural or Civil Engineering
Chartered status or working towards it
10+ years' post-graduate experience in structural/civil engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Strong design abilities for Steel and Concrete Frame structures
Experience in drainage system design
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
