Overview
We are on the lookout for a Material Handler to support our expanding European Assembly Centre
We are a life sciences company focused on the development, production and commercialization of high-value consumable products used in the process of manufacturing biological drugs.
You’ll be part of a cross functional team of 10-12 highly motivated and collaborative colleagues that support the assembly and shipping of our products to the EMEA market. This role will be based in Waterford and will report to the Assembly Centre Team Lead.
Responsibilities
The successful material handler will be responsible for:
* Receipt / checking / movement / control of all materials received into the warehouse as per relevant approved documentation including SOP’s / Batch Documents / MO’s / Delivery Documentation.
* Correct positioning of material within the relevant locations within manufacturing as per approved SOP’s.
* Kitting material based on the required Batch Documentation / MO’s etc.
* Cycle counting of KanBan at month and quarter end
* Collection, transfer & packing of PO’s as per customer order.
* Achievement of operational targets including but not limited to Schedule Adherence right First Time/ Inventory accuracy as per cycle count rules.
* Responsible for the accuracy of ERP transactions for PO’s / Inventory transactions / Receipts.
* Involvement with Manufacturing Cell based Team / Teamwork initiatives / and implementation of Teamwork improvements-based projects e.g., material management projects.
* Involvement with the introduction of upgraded ERP System.
* Involvement and active participation with continuous improvement projects to improve the Warehouse process.
* Complete and thorough knowledge of areas of expertise in terms of the Warehouse and Packaging process.
* Accurate reporting of department measures / metrics / controls which may be assigned.
Qualifications
* 1 Year material handling experience
* Leaving Certificate – or equivalent
* Certification in supply chain or warehouse desirable
* Full Clean Driving licence
* The ability to follow written and / or oral instructions and operate equipment.
* Numerical literacy required to the ensure stock accuracy.
