Reporting to the EMEA Financial Accountant, our successful candidate will strengthen our Finance & Controlling team across EMEA and Freight Forwarding. The candidate will play a key role in supporting month end close and support of the audit for all the Irish entities.Location: DublinHours:Full-time, (Mon-Fri)About the RolePrepare and manage the weekly cash forecastTimely and accurate month end close as well as providing meaningful variance analysis of results and commentary against budget / forecast – WD4Conduct various analysis on both own initiative and on request from senior management, reporting back the finding and recommendations.Liaising with operations and other finance departments to ensure information is received on a timely basisPreparing the gross margin analysis reports for two sites.Preparing the monthly revenue analysis reports for four sites.Managing Treasury postings and ensuring that everything reconciles dailyManaging the Treasury Loans report for EuropeEnsuring all intercompany balances reconcile for month end closeEnsuing the weekly Billing is loaded correctly to SAP from CIS and stratumProducing monthly reconciliations for the main trading entity and TreasuryProducing quarterly reconciliations for our non-trading entitiesSupporting the yearly Group and Statutory AuditPreparation and posting of journal entriesWhat you will bringEducationPart Qualified accountant ACA; ACCA; CIMA; or CPAExperienceHave a minimum of 2 years' experience in an operationally focused accounts assistant or Credit control roleExcellent communication skills and a track record in building relationships as you will be liaising with both internal and external personnel at all levelsDefinite asset:Experience of SAP & Oracle are desirable (not essential)Strong Excel skill desirableSkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, in order to meet reporting deadlinesAbility to communicate with a variety of people, with different regional backgrounds and rolesFlexibility and the willingness to learn and develop on the jobStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficient in using Microsoft Office tools – Excel proficiency is desirableCompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
