My client is a successful underwriting agency with over a decade’s experience of supplying fleet insurance to companies up and down the UK. From their HQ in London and small branch network they use a wide range of brokers to offer a personal, tailored service to meet the needs of Hauliers, Couriers, Standard and Non-Standard fleets.
The business now seeks to recruit an experienced Motor Damage & Injury Claims Handler to join their growing team. Reporting to the Claims Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing claims from initial notification through to settlement, delivering outstanding service to brokers and customers along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage motor damage and injury claims from first notification through to final settlement.
- Liaise with brokers, customers and third parties to establish claim circumstances and progress claims efficiently.
- Set and maintain accurate claim reserves.
- Provide regular updates to brokers and third parties throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Deliver excellent customer service while building strong broker relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally 2+ years’ claims handling experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
