Oliver James have partnered with a leading Enterprise Client who are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our client's QA team on a 6-month contract basis.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented testing professional with strong experience in mainframe testing and hands-on expertise in Zephyr for test management.
You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across key legacy and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: Execute end-to-end manual testing across complex systems, including mainframe applications
Write, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans in Zephyr
Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing
Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases
Track defects using JIRA and ensure timely resolution
Participate in test planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reporting activities
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help troubleshoot issues as needed
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
