About the Role
Finance Architect for Oracle ERP, EPM (Cloud and EBS) responsible for implementing, improving, monitoring, and maintaining the bank’s Oracle financial application systems (Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets) to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. Supports end‑users with functional support and collaborates with EU business stakeholders for Finance & Regulatory Reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with EU business stakeholders to define Finance & Regulatory Reporting requirements.
* Support EMEA Finance & Regulatory Reporting leads in developing and maintaining the architecture vision and roadmap.
* Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
* Implement controls and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data used in reporting.
* Identify opportunities to streamline and automate finance & regulatory reporting processes.
* Investigate and resolve technical issues related to finance and reporting systems, working with vendors and internal teams.
* Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and provide training to business users.
* Lead design authority sessions and facilitate governance discussions with senior stakeholders.
* Ensure all documents and artifacts are current to meet quality framework requirements.
* Deliver Oracle ERP solutions aligned with global templates and closely coupled systems.
* Provide production support, hands‑on design, configuration duties, and Oracle interfaces.
Qualifications
* 15–20 years of industry experience in Oracle Financials within the banking sector.
* Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes.
* Demonstrable experience with ERP systems (Oracle Financials) and regulatory reporting.
* Experience with cloud platforms and regulatory software such as Suade or WKFS is beneficial.
* Hands‑on knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets modules.
* Solid understanding of record‑to‑report, procure‑to‑pay processes and internal controls.
* Experience in system implementation, production support, and SQL query writing.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Proficiency in ticketing systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
