Job Title: Health and Environmental Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking a confident, proactive, and personable Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. This role reports directly to the Health and Safety Manager and supports a dynamic working environment in the construction and mechanical industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation and company standards across projects and operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and continuously improve HSEQ systems
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Promote a proactive safety culture across all sites and teams
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
* Assist with development and delivery of HSEQ training and communications
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
Requirements:
* 34 years' experience in a HSEQ role, ideally in a construction or mechanical setting
* Minimum Diploma in Health and Safety
* Proven ability to work independently and confidently across multiple sites
* Full driving licence (company vehicle and fuel covered)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
