Role Description
We are looking to recruit six Fabricator/Welders to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Carlow for a Fabricator/Welder. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, welding and fabricating high-quality components, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the work area. Daily tasks include welding, cutting, measuring, and assembling metal parts based on specifications. Collaborating with the design team to ensure the accuracy of finished products and performing quality checks are also part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication and welding requirements
* Weld and fabricate high-quality components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
* Cut, measure, and assemble metal parts according to specifications
* Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
* Ensure a safe and clean work environment and comply with safety standards
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy of finished products
* Perform quality checks on completed work
Qualifications
* Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
* Experience in metal fabrication and assembly
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
* Experience with maintenance and safe operation of welding equipment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Relevant certifications and training in welding and fabrication are a plus
Salary
* Annual salary for a 39 hour week is €34,000
