*Newly created role* Our client are a significant property owner in the Munster region with a portfolio comprising of retail, industrial, office and vacant greenfield sites. Facilities management is currently managed on an ad hoc basis and the works are carried out by local subcontractors. As the portfolio has grown significantly in the last 18 months, we are now seeking to appoint a Head of Facilities to oversee the property portfolio and establish a formal asset management and development strategy. The role is ideally suited to someone who has previously managed a campus/property portfolio or has experience of establishing an in-house FM/Asset Management function. The successful candidate will: Carry out an inventory and health check of existing property portfolio Establish and implement an asset management plan Developshort- and long-term objectives to enhance service delivery levels, measure, deliver and report against these Work with existing tenants and stakeholders to insure minimum disruption to existing operations/tenants Ensure all buildings/properties meet regulatory, compliance and health and safety requirements Where necessary tender and procure suppliers or subcontractors to carry out specialist works or contracts Assist the Property Director in the oversight of Property Development and Capital works projects Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen. A third level qualification in an engineering related discipline is preferred but not essential. Applications will be dealt with in strictest confidence.
