This is a greenfield opportunity to design, build, and lead the company's IT function from the ground up, supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across a large-scale site operation. Initially, the role will be fully on-site (5 days per week) while the IT function is established. Once the foundations are in place, there will be scope to transition to a hybrid working model. Develop and deliver a clear IT roadmap and long-term technology strategy aligned with business objectives.ERP Cloud MigrationLead the migration of an existing on-premise ERP system to a cloud-based solution, ensuring minimal disruption, scalability, and business continuity.Microsoft Dynamics 365 ExpansionOversee the rollout and integration of Dynamics 365 across additional business functions, improving efficiency, reporting, and data visibility.HR Systems ImplementationSelect and implement a new HR software solution to streamline processes and enhance user experience.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage external IT service providers and vendors, including contract negotiation, SLA management, and performance oversight.Infrastructure & Security OversightEnsure the stability, security, and resilience of the organisation's IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, access controls, and best practice governance.Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with internal teams to understand business needs, resolve issues proactively, and position technology as a key enabler of productivity and innovation.Key Experience:Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365Head of IT / Senior IT manager experience working in large scale environmentsERP system experience, particularly migration or implementation projectsProven ability to deliver cloud-first IT strategies and end-to-end projectsKnowledge of IT governance, vendor management, and security best practices
