Job Summary
Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their client, a leading pharmaceutical company, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation and drive a high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of HR strategies to align with organisational goals and objectives.
* Deliver high-quality, customer-focused HR services tailored to business needs and requirements.
* Provide coaching and guidance to managers on both HR and broader business issues, promoting effective partnerships and collaboration.
* Build strong relationships with managers to ensure HR needs are met within each function, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Offer expert advice on HR matters, working collaboratively with internal subject-matter experts to design appropriate solutions and implement best practices.
* Implement HR programs, policies, and procedures that promote a high-performing workplace culture and support employee engagement and retention.
* Lead and coordinate HR-related programs such as employee orientation, wellness initiatives, and benefits information sessions.
* Partner with business leaders to identify and implement strategies addressing employee engagement, change management, and retention.
* Manage all aspects of payroll administration on-site, ensuring accuracy and compliance in pay and benefits.
* Oversee relationships with external vendors, including benefit providers and Occupational Health partners.
* Coordinate all elements of the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
* Deliver and facilitate the HR module within the new hire induction program, providing essential knowledge and skills for new employees.
* Monitor and manage time and attendance systems, including oversight of employee leave of absence processes and maintaining accurate records.
* Maintain and update the quarterly HR metrics dashboard for reporting to local leadership and in business reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Handle daily HR administrative tasks, including generating salary certificates, reference letters, and social welfare documents, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong track record of success and achievement.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate complex information.
* Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); prior Workday experience preferred.
* Experience within the pharmaceutical industry beneficial, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and requirements.
* Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong service orientation.
