About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring contractual obligations are met, commercial risk is managed, and project teams are supported from mobilisation to final handover.
This role will suit someone with experience in public works frameworks, water or utilities projects, and a strong grasp of contract management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee full lifecycle contract management across assigned projects
* Ensure compliance with contract terms (e.g. NEC, Irish Water, GCCC)
* Work closely with project managers, site teams, and commercial leads
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and resolve contract-related queries
* Support subcontractor onboarding, performance tracking, and variations
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks and help drive project profitability
* Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and assist with audits and claims
* Contribute to strategic contract planning and process improvements
Key Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in a Contract Manager or related commercial role
* Background in civil engineering, utilities, or public works (ideally Irish Water or similar frameworks)
* Strong understanding of commercial risk, claims, variations, and contract compliance
* Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
* Full clean driving licence
