We are looking for someone with great experience working as front of house to join our team in our Dundrum Village Vets clinic. We operate to a very high standard of Veterinary Medicine and the practice is fully equipped with excellent surgical, diagnostic, and medical equipment.
Our Dundrum, South Dublin branch, joined the Village Vets family in 2013 and is well equipped with modern facilities including three consult rooms, a dedicated dental room and separate cat and dog wards. We even play relaxing classical music to keep our cats calm, with more lively stations played to keep our dogs company
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be leading the front of house team who are the first point of contact for visitors at the clinic and would also have an interest in learning about animal care with the goal of progressing their career.
Responsibilities
* Greet all visitors and welcome them to the clinic.
* Answer and direct phone calls.
* Schedule appointments.
* Checking in patients.
* Collecting payments.
* Maintain records as necessary .
* Manage the receptionist area and assist with admin tasks as needed.
* Assist Vet nurses and Vets with patient care when necessary.
* Undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or relevant work experience.
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication skills.
* 3 or more years of front of house experience.
