Administrator Grade IV - Human Resources Department - TUS Athlone Unijobs DAC are currently recruiting an Administrator to engage within the HR department of the Technological University of Shannon in Athlone.
We are looking for someone to commence ASAP and the contract will be a length of 9 months initially and the working hours are full time 35 hours per week.
This is a Grade IV role offering a salary range from €36,354 - €52,251 where the exact point on the sale will be decided after interview.
JOB DESCRIPTION The appointee may be assigned to any of a very wide range of areas or activities carried out in the Human Resources Department.
This role will be primarily based on the Athlone campus, but from time to time may require attendance at any of the TUS campuses Principal duties and responsibilities: Process sickness absence for staff in line with TUS Policy & Procedures.
Liaise with staff on sick leave/long term absences to ensure medical certs are to date.
Liaise with company Occupational Health Advisor on long term sick cases and advise HR Manager of recommendations.
Complete Garda Vetting, including issuing requests; reviewing ID documents; maintaining files and highlighting any delays in the process that may cause an operational issue; Co-ordinate the probation process ensuring managers are aware of TUS Probation Policy & Procedure.
Response to queries received via HR email account.
Assist with obtaining relevant documentation for new starters i.e.
pre-employment medicals, references, qualifications.
Process VDU eyesight applications.
Assist with the administration of the Recruitment Processes of HR Department during peak times and holiday periods.
Co-ordinate the completion of exit interviews documentation Assist with specific projects in HR Department as they arise To undertake other duties as requested by the HR Manager or designate Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills: Have the requisite knowledge, skills and competencies to carry out the role.
