Job Title
A seasoned Technical Reporting Specialist is required to support the overall accounting function and provide expert advice on technical accounting matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and be able to analyze complex financial data to drive informed business decisions.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain and implement technical accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other international accounting standards.
* Perform analysis and research on technical accounting matters, including drafting position papers and preparing financial statements.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and effective communication of accounting policies and procedures.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging IFRS and other international accounting standards, assessing their impact on the business and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualifications:
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with experience in a similar role.
* Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
* Excellent Excel skills, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
