Opalus Healthcare is currently recruiting for
Consultants in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
for locum and standalone positions across hospitals in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics and Gynaecology care, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological services.
* Manage both elective and emergency obstetric and gynaecological presentations in line with hospital guidelines.
* Perform and supervise obstetric and gynaecological procedures in theatre and delivery suite as required.
* Participate in on-call duties for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
* Support the education and training of junior medical staff, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, while maintaining ongoing CPD and compliance with professional standards.
Requirements
* Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) in the Specialist Division in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or eligible for registration).
* Experience working in Ireland or the UK.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland (Irish/EU/UK passport or Stamp 4 residency).
