* Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage, coach and develop a multi-skilled engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
* Optimise Maintenance Activities: Plan, oversee and optimise all preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, safety, HR, finance and project teams to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading engineering teams, preferably in a heavy industrial or heavy plant environment.
A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a Fitter trade background with demonstrated leadership progression, is essential.
Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, asset management and engineering compliance is crucial. The ideal candidate will also possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
