Hotel Bar Manager
The Hotel Bar Manager oversees the entire bar operation, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality beverages. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for shaping the bar experience, maintaining standards, managing suppliers and inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on every guest.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior management to uphold impeccable service standards and exceed guest expectations
* Curate an exceptional beverage menu, including signature cocktails and premium spirits
* Develop staff rosters within budgetary constraints
* Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the bar team
* Maintain the highest hygiene standards, with up-to-date checklists
* Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure quality
* Oversight of financial performance, track expenses, and optimize profitability without compromising quality
* Handle cash, card transactions, banking, and sales reporting
Requirements
* Previous managerial experience within a high-end bar or 4*/5* hotel
* Valid work permit
* Strong leadership skills to inspire and mentor a team of bartenders
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Deep knowledge of beverage trends, mixology techniques, and best practices
* Computer literate
* Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends
