Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Service Design & Introduction Manager (ITIL Processes) to join their dynamic team in Dublin city (2 days per week in the office) for 6 months plus contract.
In this pivotal role, you'll lead the delivery of new and modified IT services, ensuring seamless and efficient transition into live environments.
Key Responsibilities
Service Design & Transition
Develop and execute Service Design Packages (SDPs) for new or updated services.
Define and validate service components including SLAs, OLAs, support models, runbooks, and monitoring prior to go-live.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure services are resilient, scalable, and supportable.
Programme & Regulatory Support
Ensure service readiness across transformation programmes and regulatory initiatives.
Maintain traceability of design decisions to regulatory requirements.
Support the implementation of operational resilience and service continuity capabilities.
Process Development & Governance
Contribute to the documentation and rollout of Service Design & Introduction processes.
Standardise templates, workflows, and governance for service onboarding.
Participate in training and enablement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business units.
Participate in service readiness reviews and governance forums to ensure alignment.
Operational Readiness
Coordinate the development of support documentation and escalation procedures.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and reporting aligned with organisational standards.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and drive enhancements to service transition practices.
Contribute to tooling improvements within the service management domain.
What You Bring
Knowledge & Skills
Proven experience in IT Service Design and Transition, ideally within financial services.
Familiarity with ITIL v4 and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Strong documentation, process design, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL v4 and project management certifications.
Proficiency in Visio and SharePoint for documentation and process mapping.
Background in enterprise architecture or solution design is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge
Experience with Japanese or Asian financial institutions is advantageous.
Understanding of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) is beneficial.
