WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The Quality Systems Administrator will support the Quality Systems Manager in maintaining and improving the company’s quality management system to ensure compliance with BRC Food Safety standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. Responsibilities include managing quality documentation, leading risk assessments, investigating customer complaints, and ensuring audit readiness.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
* Administer and control all quality and food safety documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with BRC standards.
* Maintain document control systems and review policies, SOPs, and records regularly.
* Support site-wide risk assessments, including food safety, allergen control, and process risk analysis.
* Assist the HACCP team in maintaining and validating food safety plans.
* Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Support inspections by BRC, customers, and regulatory bodies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement in quality systems and food safety culture.
* Collaborate with production, technical, and operations teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in a quality or technical role within the food manufacturing industry.
* Deep knowledge of BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
* Experience with document control and quality management systems.
* Understanding of HACCP principles and risk assessment techniques.
* HACCP Level 3 certification or higher.
* Familiarity with SharePoint or Food Connected databases.
