About the Role
The Residential Centre Manager is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient services are provided and operated in accordance with legislative requirements.
In line with the Health Act 2007 (Care and support of residents in designated centres for persons (Children and Adults) with disabilities) Regulation 2013 and All associated regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for staff.
2. Supervise and support Nursing and Support teams in the delivery of care and support services.
3. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained in relation to service users and staff.
4. Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality care standards, protocols and guidelines.
5. Oversee the daily operation of the unit, working closely with the Area Service Manager.
6. Promote a home-like atmosphere and ensure the health, recreational and other needs of service users are met.
7. Foster relationships based on respect and equality, promoting independence and choice.
