The role will involve regular travel between locations in Leinster and close involvement in day-to-day IT operations.The Job:Lead and manage a team of 3-4 Systems Administrators, providing hands-on technical support and escalationTake ownership of day-to-day IT operations across a multi-site groupTravel regularly between locations to support and oversee IT systemsEnsure high availability, performance, and security of all IT infrastructureManage and support Windows Server environments (latest versions)Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)Manage Microsoft Office 365, including email protection and securityOversee networking infrastructure including HP and Cisco hardwareHands-on management of networking, firewalls, TCP/IP, routing, and switchingLead installation, configuration, and support for desktop and end-user environmentsAct as senior escalation point during outages or critical incidentsParticipate in a rotational shift pattern and provide on-call support for downtime incidentsManage third-party vendors, service providers, and SLAsOversee hardware and software procurementImplement IT operations best practices and continuous improvement initiativesHave You:7+ years' experience in IT operations or infrastructure rolesAt least 2 years' experience in a leadership or team management roleStrong hands-on experience with Windows Server (latest versions)Extensive knowledge of HP and Cisco infrastructureStrong networking expertise including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and switchingExperience administering Microsoft Active Directory / Entra IDStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and email security solutionsExposure to IAM concepts and access managementExperience managing IT vendors and third-party service providersBackground in desktop support installation and IT operations managementAbility to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including shifts and on-callWillingness and flexibility to travel between multiple sitesCertifications (Preferred):Microsoft certifications (e.g. Systems Administrator, Azure, or related)ITIL certificationAdditional infrastructure, networking, or security certifications are an advantage
