Navio Ltd are currently seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. In this role you will work alongside an experienced plumber and gain key skills and experience.
REPORTING TO Contracts Manager
LOCATION Dublin
CONTRACT TYPE Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities
* Learning and developing new practical craft-related skills and knowledge.
* Assist plumber with installations.
* Working with a variety of specialised hand and power tools.
* Interpreting drawings and specifications.
* Planning and organising the installation of plumbing systems.
* Learn and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work areas.
* Attend training sessions and classes when required.
* Demonstrate good work practices including timekeeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness.
Requirements
About you
* Previous experience in a construction or technical role is a plus.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
* Good work ethic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
* Good awareness of health and safety.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Technical and mechanical aptitude.
* Good problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to learn and follow instruction.
Qualifications
* Safe Pass (required).
Experience
* Commercial plumbing experience.
* Installation of LPHW & CHW services.
* Installation of water services and waste pipework for tea stations/kitchens.
* Installation of sanitaryware.
