Food Service / Chef / Cook – Tex-Mex Street Food & Markets (Driving Required)

We're a busy Tex-Mex burrito business operating a 7-day food truck in Macroom and weekly markets across Cork. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on food operator who can cook well, work fast, and drive our van to markets when required.
What You'll Do
* Prep, cook, and serve our Tex-Mex menu to a high standard
* Run service efficiently during busy periods
* Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
* Manage prep levels and basic stock
* Set up and pack down food truck / market stalls
* Drive the van to markets or the food truck (essential)
What We're Looking For
* Solid food experience (kitchen, catering, food truck, deli, etc.)
* Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
* Full EU/UK driving licence
* 25+ years old (insurance requirement)
* Own transport to Macroom
* Available for mornings and weekends
* Leadership experience is a bonus, not required
This role is not suitable for applicants without a clean full UK/EU driving licence.
Hours & Pay:
* Full-time
* Daytime-focused schedule-No late nights
* Additional hours during festivals, caterings and summer
* Higher rate for strong experience or leadership ability

Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
